EP Abyssinia Limited (EPA) Brief Company Profile

EP Abyssinia Limited hereinafter referred to as ‘EPA’. is a newly registered company but its partners and management team bring extensive technical, commercial, and financial strength in oil and gas exploration and production and business execution and management. Our principals have over 35 years of experience in most world countries, particularly in Africa, Middle-east, Asia and Europe.

Our registered office is in Cyprus and we also have associate offices in Dubai, London, and Aberdeen.

Over the last ten years our principals were involved directly in developing a gas/condensate field in Cameroon from inception and it is currently producing gas for factories in the industrial area in Douala.

EPA has a strategic partnership with Blackwatch Petroleum Services Limited (Blackwatch) UK, and Contech Engineering Dubai (Contech). Blackwatch has extensive experience in East Africa and particularly Ethiopia. Blackwatch will act as EPA’s technical advisors. In addition to their technical strength Blackwatch have successfully facilitated finance for assets in the UK for Public Limited Companies listed in the UK Stock Exchange and bank finance with HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, BNP Paribas, Royal Bank of Scotland and others.

EPA Technical Senior management team worked with a multitude of organisations, ranging from multi-national and state oil companies, small independents, investment banks, financial institutions, stock markets and governments. These include ADNOC, BP, Shell, ConocoPhillips, Exxon Mobil, ChevronTexaco, ENI, JNOC (renamed JOGMEC), GDF, Marathon, Merrill Lynch, EBRD, Norsk Hydro, Cairn Energy, CNR, Victoria Oil and Gas and many others.

The work covered most parts of the world including Abu Dhabi, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Australia, Austria, Cameroon, China, Chile, Colombia, Congo, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Guinea Conakri, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Libya, Mali, Malta, Mauritania, Nigeria, The Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Russia, South Africa, Turkmenistan, Somalia, Spain, Tunisia, UK, USA, Venezuela, Vietnam, and Yemen.

Over the last two decades our technical principals and advisors have been directly involved in developing oil and gas fields in the North Sea and in Africa from inception. The activities in Cameroon are of particular relevance to the proposed work in Ethiopia. EPA propose to pursue a similar approach of fast-track execution and result-oriented technology-focused work programme. Our technical partners led the exploration and development effort in Cameroon on behalf of the operator. Wells were successfully drilled and completed, production facilities were constructed, and the first two wells were put on production within a few of years from the start of operations.
